NEW MUSIC: Andew Wambua With 'Mangulet'
18 September 2014
Singer-songwriter Andrew Wambua is back at it again, this time with a new single titled ‘Mangulet’ off his upcoming album.
"Mangulet’ is basically the Kamba pronunciation for Margaret in my native language. Its a new and I dare say fresh, different “afro-house” track with my signature, silky, smooth harmony”shares Andrew.
Produced by the one and only Kagwe Mungai, this new track promises to leave you bobbing your head and dancing all the way into the club.
Inspired by the likes of Freshlyground, Sauti Sol, John Legend, Jessie J, Mafikizolo and Eric Wainaina, Andrew Wambua dived into the music scene in November 2008 after forming his band Afrology with whom he has performed far and wide in his hometown Nairobi; his latest performance being the 55th edition of Blankets and Wine.
His first critically acclaimed release “Nipe Pendo” continues to receive massive airplay on Homeboyz radio, Hot96 and the world groove show on Capital fm.
“ I give my heart and artistry to the world ” as he simply put it
