Peace Jolis’ shook Rwanda’s entertainment industry when he released hit scintillating jam titled ‘Icyo’.
It was an instant sensation with media outlets in Rwanda playing it back to back.
The song was received well , with Peace Jolis noting that ‘Icyo’ has given him the thrill to keep doing more and more dope music on themes that his fans can relate to.
I mean, love is universal and even those who don’t believe in it currently believed in it at one point in their lives which is all that matters.
For ‘Icyo’, a magical and beautiful track sang in Kinyarwanda, Peace Jolis captured the hearts of his fans and sent a message for reflection.
The talented singer explains that the song was inspired by day to day events in the dating scene which many people are witness to and can relate.

“#icyo is about a guy approaching a beautiful lady trying to get her attention with expensive material things because she seems out of his league only to find out she appreciates just little gestures and low key treats,” Peace Jolis candidly told Mdundo in an exclusive interview on Tuesday.
‘Icyo’ is a top-rated song in Rwanda. It has hit all the tick boxes to become a classic RnB anthem in the land of a thousand hills.
The video is topnotch, relatable and of high quality, something that glues fans to it minutes on end.
