WCW PLAYLIST: Women Collaborations Wednesday Jams

Midweek is that stranger who comes knocking on your door without notice; out of the blue just when the week has barely begun. A good thing none the less. Today we mould the WCW clay into bringing out another meaning that apllies to the music industry- Women Collabo Wednesday. We take a minute to recognize all the collaborations our female artists have done together. Though it is going to prove hard since female artists in Kenya are still in the process of evolution, we managed to compile a playlist for the occasion:
1. Yvonne Darcq and Victoria Kimani; The two lovely song birds came under one roof and made one of the most legendary collaborations of this year proving to be more than just pretty faces.

2. This is waht you might call a walk down memory lane, but might be the most beautiful journey ever! Songstresses Pam and Karma brought us the osng 'Tatizo' which ruled the airwaves for quite a while.
3. The diverse music protégé and ‘Jabulani’ hitmaker worked together with the young former Camp Mulla singer, Miss Karun on Fena’s album, Fenamenal

4. Perhaps one of the most talked about videos from last year, Rabbit’s ‘Ligi Soo’ remix merged the different artistic capabilities of different female artists in the industry, which then gave birth to the careers of many of the artists on the song. Female act Wangechi being one of them

5. Released nine months ago, the song might not have received the expected response from Kenyans but that doesn’t make it any less of a good song. Nyota Ndogo and Amileena made, ‘Nalia’ an emotional masterpiece.

6. Rap Queen Stella Mwangi came together with Mitchelle on this hit, 'Taking It Back' and what happened next was purely magical!
