As Nigeria celebrates its diamond jubilee, today on the 1st of October, 2020, celebrating 60 years of independence from colonial rule, a renowned Ghanaian reggae artist has celebrated the same with a new single titled..

Nii Lante Okunka Blankson, popularly known by has stage name as Knii Lante, has done a song to celebrate with Nigerians on this great day. In his song, the Ghanaian reggae, soul, and Afro pop musician, songwriter, and medical doctor urged Nigerians and Ghanaians to continue having relations in all sectors and not just in the music sector. He further said: “Throughout the years we’ve shared a great bond of companionship wrapped in rivalry.”

“In the wake of the recent misunderstandings amongst Ghanaian and Nigerian traders that escalated tensions, it’s become necessary that we remind ourselves of the great positive bonds we share, especially through music! That’s what Ghana-Naija represents. He added”

His 6th single this year is mainly aimed at celebration the two cultures of both Nigeria and Ghana and the many things that they have in common

“Let’s celebrate the love we share for food, sports, women and of course music.”
