Rwandese Afro beat king Davis-D became the talk of the town in April after he dropped his “Micro” hit that came in right in the middle of a nationwide lock down.

The Kinyarwanda lyrical song was an instant hit as it gave fans something to jam to while they stayed at home.

This track earned him a lot of praise from his fans and by the views on YouTube; 770,000 in three months, one can tell that is almost a national anthem.

Davis D and the entire team that worked on the jam including Kenyan producer Motif Di Don did it a lot of justice as the beats take on other big Nigerian hits which are largely Afro beat.

The song has been praised with most fans saying that David-D could be one of Rwanda’s most iconic musicians with an international outlook in the coming days.

“I’ve said this and I’ll repeat it , this guy is the most stylish artist we have here in Rwanda, keep it up,” one of fans identified as Life Is Good said.

One Rwabusisi Honore joked saying that the World Health Organization has since declared the song a national pandemic.

“World Health Organization has declared this song to be a "PANDEMIC.”
