Mdundo weekly notes and the five chart toppers!!

The ‘short’ workweek has finally come to an end having been very productive music wise; from stiff competition on TOP10 charts to new songs released!
The week was marked with the release of Rabbit’s new video 1963 described by many as a master piece. The artistic poetry piece is an 8-minute track that features Tim Rimbui and upcoming artist Kanana to commemorate 50 years of Kenya’s independence.
Grandpa Records also launched a new single by former TPF 4 contestant Prudence featuring the diva of rap Pizo Dizo titled ‘Wale Wale’.
News that Kenyan rock band Parking Lot Grass will head out to Germany for the 49 Degrees Metal Zone Festival was also something to celebrate and we are proud of the boys and certain they will represent Kenya well.
Veteran rapper Chris Kantai will also be making a comeback, and that is certain after he dropped by Mdundo offices on Monday with his manager Eric.
Without further ado below is the list of artists who have been topping daily TOP10 charts since Monday; this week we had Mwafreeka making three out of five appearances with his new hit “Risto”.
