Cindy Sanyu Lands Massive Deal with Uganda Tourism Board

Ugandan dancehall artiste Cindy Sanyu has secured a lucrative deal with the Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) as the new Lambula Uganda (Take on the Pearl) ambassador and will be in charge of showcasing Uganda's beauty.

The digital campaign was launched in November 2018 with an aim of increasing local tourists and Cindy is fit for the role as she boasts of huge numbers on social media.

Following her appointment, Cindy Sanyu headlined the group touring Western Uganda; Lake Mburo National Park.

The team was flagged off yesterday at the UTB main offices in Kampala.

Speaking to journalists, Cindy expressed her excitement noting that she will do a level best to promote and help grow local tourism in Uganda.

"They have invested money in us to promote tourism and they had to pick people who had a huge following and while on the tour, we can show people these places, and attract tourists," she said.

Many music fans were wondering if she will work alongside Eddy Kenzo who was recently appointed Uganda's new tourism ambassador, but Cindy says her docket is totally different from

"Kenzo is the general ambassador in general but right now I'm the ambassador for this project," She said.

Cindy Sanyu says she earned all this through the respect and attention she got from her successful 'Boom Party' concert.
