Early this month, Ugandan singer Lydia Jazmine teamed up with Fik Fameica and dropped a viral video dubbed ‘Binji’ setting tongues wagging in the country.

A few days after its release, the producer behind the hit song Cmert Keyz came out claiming that the duo did not pay him for the song.

According to Keyz, Lydia Jazmine being the major owner of the song promised to pay but she did not.

“Fik Fameica had told me to send him the song once I was done but Lydia Jazmine called me asking me how I could give Fik the song yet she was the owner. She told me she wanted the audio and once I had given it to her, she said she was in Jinja and would see me as soon as she came back but she didn't," Cmert alleged.

Responding to the claims, Fik Fameica noted that he was not aware of what transpired between the producer and Lydia Jazmine since he just jumped on the song without much inquiry.

“I found it around but I do not know about the history behind the song plus their arrangement. I just featured on the song without knowing much about it,” he said.

According to Cmert, Lydia Jazmine owes her between 700-800K Ugandan shillings.

Lydia Jazmine is yet to address the producer’s allegations.
