Shiru wa GP is reminding people about the power of prayer and not limiting themselves with her new single dubbed ‘Mihaka’.

‘Mihaka’ is loosely translated to boundaries. With this single, Shiru wa GP talks about how often people will place boundaries over what they can achieve and on the flipside, how other people will make you believe that you cannot achieve as much as you desire to both directly and indirectly. Shiru wa GP then carries that with the need to constantly pray so that all these boundaries both from within and without can be lifted off of us and we can get to where we desire.

In true Shiru wa GP style, ‘Mihaka’ is placed on a fast paced kigoco beat and her delivery is as fast as the beat. Shiru is very deliberate about her lyrics by quoting the scripture and sticking to her chosen message in the song.

The video is a scene out of cobra-squad with Shiru wa GP fighting the different ‘mihaka’; poverty, disease and all else; in her life in the form of a person in the forest. The video also has scenes of Shiru with her crew conducting a bible study session. We also get to watch Shiru in prayer through the video which is a lead to the cobra squad scene.

Catch an uplifting and encouraging vibe with Shiru wa GP on ‘Mihaka’.
