Juno Kizigenza; a fast-rising performing Rwandese artist only has two jams out but his music career seems so promising if the two songs are anything to go by.

His debut song ‘Mpa Formula’ has done him a great deal of favour since its release in May this year. It has hit 211,000 views on YouTube.

Encouraged by the warm reception into a very competitive industry, he released another sizzling video titled ‘Solid’. ‘Solid’ premiered on YouTube in early September and even before a month is over, it has garnered 111,000 views, half or what his first single garnered in four months.

This is a good sign. Juno, a fourth born in a family of seven children credits his musical success so far to holdingonto his dream and putting in the work to make it work.

He has always wanted to be a great singer, singing to a charged crowd and in big platforms which his two singles have now given him.

“Right from my early childhood, I grew with a dream to one day become a great musician. I really love music and I want to keep doing it as a career,” the 20-year-old told The New Times.

Juno wrote several songs back in high school which he went on to record, thanks to a recording studio at Agahozo Shalom Youth Village. With the burning talent, he would have a few live performances and this nurtured his skills even more. But it is his mentor only identified as Nando who previously worked at the school and would follow his musical works closely who linked him to Bruce Melodie, another hot talent from Rwanda.

“I went to see him and I showed him that cover and other songs that I had recorded, but with low quality but he loved my talent. He wanted young artists with a vision and talent and I think I’ve got everything that he was looking for,” he said.
