Renowned Ugandan producer Artin Pro has addressed an ongoing court case against him and luga flow rapper Fik Fameica.

Fik together with the producer were sued by a section of women who claimed that his hit song, 'My Property' released in 2018 is demeaning and offensive to the female gender.

Speaking during a recent interview with Spark TV, Artin Pro said they innocently released the jam without knowing that it would hurt anyone.

"Sometimes we do these songs without knowing exactly what will happen. We worked on this song knowing we were producing the best and I don't think it has anything that can hurt someone," Artin said.

He confirmed that the case is in court and asked his fans to pray for him and Fik Fameica.

"Sometimes it is the differences or failure to come to a common point and I do not blame anyone since it's an open society. Maybe we shall proceed with this case and come out successful, you never know. Some people think it's all a joke but it is costing us a lot, abandoning our work. I just need it to be done,” he divulged.

Artin Pro is, however, positive that they will come out victorious because he believes they did nothing wrong.

The case is set for hearing on 1 December, 2020 at 10:30am at High Court by Magistrate Musa Ssekana.
