We are almost into the last quarter of 2020 but we have already seen several top music videos released by Nigerian singers.
There will definitely be more top videos released before the end of the year but for now, here are some of the best among the best we have seen so far;
Yemi Alade released a colorful video for this song on September 1.
'True Love' is a song off the singer's upcoming album and the visuals stand out because of the perfect choice of costumes which can basically be described as dazzling, top notch choreography and the general showcasing of African culture.
Just before he dropped his second studio album 'Apollo', fast-rising Nigerian singer Fireboy DML released visuals for 'Tattoo' off the project.
The song's video is directed by Clarence Peters, a nominee for this year's Video Director of the year at AFRIMMA.
In the video released on August 12, Fireboy DML is in a sensual mood with his bae and gives her a good sexual healing that attracted the girls next door.
'Know You' in which Marvin Records wordsmith LadiPoe featured Simi is a song that is battling for the Collaboration of the Year at the 2020 AFRIMMA.
The visuals are well thought-out and presented in a story-telling format that will keep you glued to the end.
American-born Nigerian singer Davido released the 'FEM' video barely a week ago.
With the way it has shattered several records - hitting a million views within 7 hours, topping several charts as well as debuting on Billboard, it is only fair to come to a conclusion that the video is among the best we have seen this year from a Nigerian artist.
Born To Win
Timaya released the 'Born To Win' music video in June, a first single for his upcoming album 'Gratitute'.
The video has been nominated for the Video of the Year category at AFRIMMA 2020, better check it out.
This is another music video that is a contender of the video of the year award at AFRIMMA.
Simi had used this music video to reveal her pregnancy in April.
The singer has since given birth, and the visuals have been watched over 19 million times on YouTube.
Burna Boy dropped visuals for 'Wonderful', a lead single for his fifth studio album 'Twice As Tall' on July 1.
The video is well executed and clearly brings out Burna Boy's message in the song - painting Africa as a place of peace, relaxation and a continent rich in indeginious traditions and vibes; "a land of warriors, Kings and Queens".
'Wonderful' is among the favorites to win the Video of the Year category at the AFRIMMA this year.
