Fast-rising Ugandan artiste Azawi has made a name for herself as one of the best songwriters in the country thanks to her amazing word play and lyrical maturity.
Azawi rose to fame earlier this year after sher dropped her viral hit dubbed 'Quinamino'. The song opened doors for her, one of them being Swanz Avenue records that signed her to be part of the label.
Months after her debut, Azawi has become one of the hottest talents in Uganda forcing fans to compare her with songwriting heavyweights like A Pass and Maurice Kirya.

"What I must say, I didn’t come to outshine anyone. Healthy competition is good but I just came to share my art. I did not come to take anyone's place, manipulate or put down but just to add my two cents on this industry; to be another block,"Azawi sad.
The 'LoFit' hit maker extended her appreciation to her fans stating that without them she is nothing.
“I'm grateful to the crowd that you have accepted me the way I am, my tomboy vibe and my style of dressing. That is who I am," Azawi divulged.
On 28th February 2020, Azawi dropped her much anticipated five-track E.P dubbed 'LO FIT with songs like Lo Fit, Crazy Love, Mbinyumirwa, Repeat It and Quinamino.
