The list for 2020 All Africa Music Awards (also referred to as AFRIMA) was released and Ghana's rapper and songwriter Ruth Eno Adjoa Amankwah Nyame Adom known professionally by her stage name Eno Barony, leads her country in celebrating rap in this genre.
In an all celebratory message to fans and followers in the gram, Eno Barony accentuated her selection whilst drumming for support. She said, "Hey fam good news I just got nominated for #Afrima for the best female rapper in Africa category log on to www.Afrima.com and vote Eno barony best female rapper category click on my stories for the voting link let’s do this for Ghana"

It adds, "If hip-hop is essentially an act of protest, in Africa it offers close support to the continent’s struggles, movements for change and major revolutions, when it’s not provoking them."
