Over the past week, the Ugandan gospel music industry has been engulfed by a verbal attack pitting popular gospel artiste Levixone and Ugandan gospel music president Afande Lanek.

A while back, Lanek gifted Levixone a brand new Mercedes Benz, but following the bitter split, Levixone returned the white convertible because he wanted peace of mind.

Following the public outburst, the pair is back in the media, this time trying to bury the hatchet.

"The Bible says if you have any problems with your brother, look for them sort out your issues," Levixone said.

Together with Afande, they apologised to the fans for disgracing themselves and printed out an apology indicating that they had settled their differences.

"When we sat down and looked at the source of this feud, we discovered we had friends we respected so much but they had their hidden agenda to separate us. I know Levixone from way back. I know his character, what he can and cannot do. When this happened, I just knew there must be something going on,”Lanek said.

The duo asked the Uganda gospel industry for forgives, noting that they are now in good terms and will work towards spreading the gospel.
