Ugandan vocalist Rema Namakula is one of the few female artists that are currently making a kill in the male dominated Ugandan music industry.

Her solo projects are top notch but we can't fail to recognize that she has been able to become better with the collabos from different artists.

The 'Ekyaama' hit maker has opened up on the process she uses when collaborating with other artistes, stating that she does not plan for the collabos.

According to her, the collabos just happen, for example she may bump on an artiste in studio and they just decide to work on a song.

"One thing about collabos, it is not something you plan for. It happens swiftly, you go to studio, record and release the song,” she said.

Being a big name in the industry, fans have been expecting her to work with already established artistes but Rema says she is open to working with anyone as long as they are good at what they do.

"By a good artiste, I do not mean an already established artiste. There are those upcoming artistes who have really good music and are serious about music," she said.

Rema told her fans to just stay alert and wait for more collaborations in future, adding that they will be both local and international.

Currently, she has collabos with the B2C boys, Chris Evans, Ykee Benda, Bebe Cool among other artistes.
