Macco Bwoy Releases New Video ‘Crush’

South Sudanese upcoming star Maluk Garang aka Macco Bwoy has dropped his latest banger ‘Crush’.

‘Crush’ is a song about a beautiful dark-skinned dimpled girl with a gap between her teeth whom Macco has a ‘Crush’ on. 

The video was shot in Kajiado by Ricky Bekko of Big Dreams studio while the audio has been produced by Independent TOT Records. 

Macco who was a refugee at Kakuma grew up listening to South Sudanese artistes such as John Kuduse, Gordon Kong, Nyankol Mathianv among others, these artistes played a huge role in influencing his music style and career. 

The fast rising star is currently signed to Independent Tot Studio based in Australia, with an office in Kenya. The studio was founded by Susan Nyaruai Tot an Australian-based Business woman from South Sudan and is the first to own a record label in South Sudan. Her vision is to give South Sudan musicians a platform for global recognition.

Speaking about his plans, Macco Bwoy said, "My plan is to push South Sudanese music and artistes to the world, we have been missing yet our industry has been steadily growing. This is the time for the world to know that South Sudan has some good vibes musically despite everything going on down there."

Macco Bwoy started his musical Career at a church in Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya. He then moved to Nairobi where he started doing underground collaborations with Kenyan rappers as a chorus singer.  

Macco Bwoy became a household name after releasing a smash hit dubbed ‘SUDANESE GIRLS’ in 2015.
