We are almost into the last quarter of 2020, a year that has seen the entertainment industry partly disrupted by the Coronavirus pandemic.
But even with the pandemic, we have already seen several singles, collabos, albums and even EPs released from various artists.
We take a look at some of the biggest collabos that Nigerian singers have released so far;
Nobody
Released in early this year, ‘Nobody’ is a song in which award-winning international disc jockey and producer DJ Neptune teams up with emPawa's duo - Mr Eazi and Joeboy.
With unique talents that the trio possess, this is an atmospheric track that is produced by Neptune Records in-house producer Magic Sticks of DJ Neptune's project tagged The Greatness II [Sounds of Neptune].
The official ‘Nobody’ video was posted on YouTube on March 5th and to date, it has been watched over 17.6 million times.
Jore
This is a product of a collaboration between two of the highly ranked Nigerian singers – Adekunle Gold and Kizz Daniel.
‘Jore’ has been topping several charts, including weekly Mdundo charts since it was released early this year, with a music video for the song having been released on February 10.
Know You
This has turned out to be one of the popular songs across the globe. ‘Know You’ is a song that brings together Marvin Records wordsmith Ladipoe and songstress Simi.
The song was officially released in April while its music video was released in July. ‘Know You’ official visuals have been watched over 3.2 million times so far.
Pami
It is not often that top musician's team up for a single like they did in this track released in August. In ‘Pami’ Starboy Entertainment’s official disk jockey DJ Tunez brings together Adekunle Gold, Wizkid and Omah Lay for an amazing track that will definitely be competing for the collaboration of the year in several awards.
The song does not have a music video yet.
Betty Butter
Afropop star Mayorkun featured his boss at DMW Davido in this song that was inspired by a conversation the two were having about social media, women among others.
The song was released on July 3 alongside its official video which has over 3.9 million views on YouTube.
