Ghanaian music producer and sound engineer Fredyma has acknowledged the talent of Kelvynboy and urged him to learn humility if at all he wants to succeed as an artiste.
“He is very very good. He started from the church and when you start from the church, you’re taught the rudiments of music,” he stated.
Fredyma said this in an interview on Happy 98.9 FM’s Showbiz Xtra with Doctar Cann, where he said: “I don’t like it when artistes who think they will win an award walk out of the auditorium when they don’t win or it goes to someone else.”
“Is that what happens on the international stage? If not, why do we do that here?” he further asked.
According to the Veteran music producer and entertainment pundit Fred Kyei Mensah popularly known as Fredyma, Kelvynboy’s behavior of walking out of the VGMA 21 concert before it ended because of not getting any award was unprofessional. He went ahead and described Kelvynboy as a disrespectful artiste, whose behavior will not only affect his relationship with jis colleagues, but it will also affect future chances of collaborations with them.
“I am advising Kelvynboy. I have said on so many platforms that guys who can sustain the Ghanaian music industry include Kidi and Kelvynboy”
