Over the weekend, Ugandan female dancehall star Cindy Sanyu was the guest artiste on Pastor Wilson Bugembe's Sunday service at Worship House.

Stepping on the pulpit, Cindy could not hold back her tears as she narrated how far she has come.

She said she first got the prophecy of her success from her pastor down in Mbale during her choir days. She could not believe when her life turned right around.

"I feel the favor of God sometimes amazes me as a person. I even sit and wonder why people care or listen to me because it has been 5 years in the industry. So many artistes have come and gone but they still care about me,” she said.

"For the first time I came to church and talked about it, especially my concert; I wonder how it happened. So when I stood there, the reality of everything hit me and I began asking myself who I was to deserve something so big," she added.

Cindy is among the lucky artistes who have won big this year despite corona virus disrupting the entertainment industry.

She had her 'Boom Party' concert in March and filled one of the biggest concert grounds in Uganda.

Immediately after the show, the country went into lock down. She attributes all this to God's love and favor.
