Legendary Ugandan artiste Joseph Mayanja commonly known as Jose Chameleone is back with a new song dubbed 'Koona'.

For more than twenty years, Jose Chameleone's name has been so vibrant in Ugandan music industry, however, he recently expressed his ambitions to join politics and contest for the Kampala mayoral post come 2021.

Quite different from the rest of songs, the Leone Island boss goes really political in 'Koona' condemning police brutality towards opposition politicians.

The new song is inspired by events that happened a few days ago as he planned to open his political office in Kampala at Balintuma Road.

He was, however, dispersed together with his supporters by police for allegedly not following the standard operating procedures against the spread of the coronavirus.

"Angry! Change is a must. We have been disrespected and disregarded for so long. Thanks Ian Producer for standing with the people. We shall overcome," Jose Chameleone said while sharing the new jam.

In the video clip he shared on YouTube, Jose Chameleone uses different images of the fateful day, also using photos of Bobi Wine during his struggle.
