Kuami Eugene is VGMA Artiste of the Year

Rising young Ghanaian highliufe musician, Kuami Eugene, was on the night of Saturday, August 29, adjudged the Artiste of the Year at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
The 'Open Gate' crooner beat stiff competition from Sarkodie, King Promise, Kofi Kinaata, Medikal and Diana Hamilton to become the biggest winner of the night.
Although several people had anticipated Sarkodie, Kofi Kinaata or Diana Hamilton to win the ultimate award, they were swerved.

Other colleagues such as Kidi and Medikal have also congratulated him. Kuami Eugene shot to fame three years ago after excelling in MTN hitmaker.
