Celebrated Kenyan musician Fena Gitu has dropped a new song dubbed ‘Siri’.

‘Siri’ is a Swahili phrase that translates to ‘Secret’, with the jam being all about keeping your secrets safe.

‘Siri’ revolves around two ladies who have a secret affair and are trying really hard to keep it away from the public.

Listen to the new release, you get to appreciate that Fena is vocally talented and very dynamic as she plays around with her voice with so much ease.

“Keep it between me and you Nobody affi know what we do Are we fooling around, are we cheating But your forbidden fruit so sweet I wanna scream it out loud everytime you take it down low,” the song lyrics read in part.

The song has an upbeat vibe making it easy to dance to, however, due to the closure of clubs, you can only jam to it at the comfort of your home.

The video is amazing and has been shot in the scenic Ibis Styles Hotel in Nairobi. The video features; Dela Maranga, Wanjira Longauer, Dr. Reign and Skinnyfilmmaker as the main acts.

‘Siri’ is off Fena Gitu’s sophomore album ‘Unleashed’.

In a tweet after releasing the song Fena said: “I am ELATED!! to share this labor of love with you. This song means the world to me . The depth of thought, the Swahili, the sheer dopeness of this creation... worked on it for years, def one of my fave kids, and I hope it tugs at your heartstrings as much as it does mine.”
