Ommy Dimpoz Appointed Judge of Bongo Star Search Season 11

Tanzanian music star Ommy Dimpoz has been appointed as one of the Judges of the Bongo star Search season 11 scheduled for later this year.
Speaking to the press, Ommy Dimpoz said he is ready for the challenge, and also ready to take up a group of new talents as he hopes to win this year’s competition.
He will be working alongside TV personality Rita Paulsen, legendary producer Joachim Kimario and musician Christian Bella.
The show will be hosted by Tanzanian comedian Idris Sultan.
Meanwhile, the artiste is working on his album that is expected to have 20 songs.

Dimpoz is yet to give finer details about the album but says he that it is an amazing project that is quite unique from what we have witnessed in Bongo.
“….Album ninayotaka kutoa ni very special na imefocus zaidi kwenye kuimba zaidi , maanake kama umegundua… najaribu kuavoid ile miziki ya kutrendi ambayo ukitoa siku mbili siku tatu bado miziki haikai, Nataka nitoe mziki ambayo mtu akiskiza anasema duh kweli Ommy alidediketi, Nmerokodi nyimbo nyingi sana…..Nataka kuchanganya mziki utakaosound Kiafrika , Kibongo flava, yaani mziki ambao uko matured sasa hivi….” he said in part.
