Stonebwoy Receives Plaques for Being Most Streamed Ghanaian Musician on Boomplay

Dancehall artiste Livingstone Etse Satekla, popularly known by his professional name as Stonebwoy has received plaques from Boomplay for being the artiste whose songs have been most streamed on the platform in Ghana.

Boomplay, just like Spotify and Audiomack is a music streaming platform that gives plaques to artistes whose songs are most streamed on the platform. The paques are given to artistes who songs get 500,000 streams and above. Stonebwoy having been ranked number one in Ghana in the year 2019, has finally received his plaques and is extremely excited about it.

Out of excitement, the renowned dancehall artiste took to his Instagram page and expressed his joy by thanking his fans for their unwavering support. He wrote:

“Finally they are here and I’m excited to say that your favourite artiste is raking up the numbers on Boomplay. I’m grateful to everyone who loves Ghana music and has been streaming and supporting us. Big ups to bhimnation”.

Beside the many juicy songs that the dance hall artiste has done, ‘Shuga’ featuring Jamaican music giant Beenie Man was the song that played the biggest role in amassing the streams on Boomplay.

Meanwhile, the artiste continues to do well as his latest song ‘Putuu’ recently received 1 million streams on both YouTube and Audiomack in just one month.
