Early this month, John Blaq dropped a new song titled 'Ngamba' that became an instant hit and caught the attention of music lovers across the country.

However, most fans got a challenge while trying to get the audio on free download as it was not available.

Speaking during a recent interview, John Blaq noted that he together with other artistes are trying to go professional with their music with the aim of getting some income from it.

"People were getting our songs for free and earning out of them. It is high time we both earned from them and get traffic on our sites too, maybe time will come and get companies to advertise with us. I also have that dream that is why we need to start this early while people can still give us some money," he said.

John Blaq divulged that every time someone plays the song on Apple Music, he gets some money in his account.

According to him, this is one more reasons for him and other artistes to go professional since they are not earning.

Over the past few weeks, a number of Ugandan artistes have embraced the idea of putting up their songs on pay to view platforms in order to earn some cash.

A few weeks ago, Sheebah Karungi dropped her 'Ninda' video which was first uploaded on eeboworld for purchase before it premiered on her official YouTube channel.
