2020 has been busy for the bongo music scene. Musicians have been dropping new projects, at the same time holding electrifying concerts across Tanzania.
This article reviews bongo musicians who have stood out in the year so far.
Harmonize
The singer quit the WCB label and launched his label dubbed Konde Gang. With the label, Harmonize has worked hard across the year dropping almost all music videos to his ‘Afro East’ album. At the same time, Harmonize has promised a new album later this year. Additionally, the singer signed Ibraah and Skales to the label where they have hit the road running. He ranks as the top bongo musician at the moment due to his consistency.

Nandy
Nandy has been dubbed the queen of bongo music. Among all the bongo female musicians, Nandy has been consistent in dropping new music with a well-defined marketing strategy. Additionally, thanks to her hard work in music, Nandy has been landing new endorsement deals dwarfing competitors.
Diamond Platnumz
Diamond Platnumz has had a slow year but he has achieved several accolades to his name. From giving us ‘Jeje’ and unique collabos to hitting one billion views on YouTube, Diamond deserves a spot on the list. Additionally, for introducing and guiding Zuchu to stardom, the singer has shown us his talent-spotting skills.
Rayvanny
Rayvanny began the year with a bang by dropping a love inspired ‘Flowers’ EP that performed well. The versatility on the EP gave us a new Rayvanny who is now on the verge of going global. The singer has been working on his global collabos.
Ali Kiba
King Kiba surprised many fans by dropping two singles in one month. Normally he is known to drop at least one song every year and 2020 has shown us a Kiba who can put it the work. Despite releasing just two songs in the year do far, Ali Kiba proved his maturity in the music industry.
