Ugandan artiste Ykee Benda is among the many people that are strongly campaigning against a second lock down that is expected to be enforced in a bis to curb the spread of corona virus in the country.
The reigning Uganda Musicians Association president, also Mpaka Records boss took to his official Twitter page, strongly opposing the idea, stating that people are going through a lot and can't afford to be put under lock down for the second phase.

"Anyone who suggests we go back into lock down is the enemy of Uganda. Please let us all pay attention to these people and hold them accountable.
"Do you have any idea what Ugandans are going through long after the lock down the effects are still eating us up. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH,” he tweeted.

He suggested that the government should explore ways of ensuring that Ugandans live safely with the virus.
In March, Uganda was treated to the first phase of the lock down, closing all businesses and public gatherings to help curb corona virus.
With increase in the number of confirmed corona virus cases, a second lock down is expected this week as the president is set to address the country.
