Celebrated Ugandan musician Papa Cidy has announced that he will still remain loyal to veteran artiste Jose Chameleone despite ditching his Leone Island music label.

Papa Cidy became a popular face in the music industry when he collaborated with Chameleone on a number of tracks namely; Tolina Kisa, Daniella, Meeme Katale, Tosuna, among others.

After many years of being under Leone Island, Papa Cidy came out to announce that he had moved on from the label and was joining Spice Diana's manager Roger of Source Management.

Speaking during a recent interview, he divulged that the decision to leave Leone Island was agreed mutually, adding that there is no bad blood between him and Chameleone.

"I can never speak ill about Chameleone because, first off, he is my personal friend. Music is like business and we should not mix it with friendships," he said.

As to whether he paid any money to work with Chameleone on the above mentioned songs, Papa Cidy noted that he has never paid the 'Baliwa' hit maker for a collabo and that in all the songs they they were just having fun.

He maintains that he does not regret being friends with Jose Chameleone and the fact that he introduced him to the music industry and the people in it.
