Midweek is here! Friday fast crippling in as the weekend sets to hijack the week even before Thursday sets in! Wednesday always has a tendency of giving us that extra kick to help us push towards our weekly goals as well as to instill vigor in us; since vigor is contagious, and whatever makes us either think or feel strongly adds to our power and enlarges our field of action. Good news Tanzania! Khalid Mohamed best known as TID (Top in Dar) officially joins mdundo; the 32 year old Tanzanian Bongo superstar is known for his hit songs like ‘zeze’ and ‘siamini’. #3. Video review (Classic): Juliani ft Jaya-Bahasha ya Ocampo.
Julius Owino Also Known as Juliani, is one of Kenya’s most talented artists since he first shot up in the music scene almost a decade back.
The gospel rapper is known for his unique musical styles in which he uses to project the societal vices mostly based on bad leadership. In ‘Bahasha ya Ocampo’ he comes out strongly against the society’s moral decay where he features vocalist Jaya. Produced by Sakata media, the video is shot in a deserted roofless building which symbolized the society’s torn apart stature. Juliani’s energy simply marshaled up the video and this was one of the videos which revolutionized Kenya’s music in 2011. Watch the Video here>>
#4. Victoria kimani goes Bongo in her NEW jam.
After Nameless decided to Luganda in his new love song, Victoria Kimani is the latest 254 artist to cross the borders. The prokoto hit maker known for his versatile musical nature, has been featured in the new ‘Never let you down’ song by Tanzania’s bongo star,Stereo. The 9th Mdundo edition is set to take place next week As an initiative to bring together artists within the local music industry and bring about unity and liberation in terms of communication and interaction amongst themselves, Mdundo lounge was launched late last year and has so far proven to be very successful in its mission; and with that in mind, the 9th edition of Mdundo Lounge is set to take place next week on Thursday .
