Event Factory, Nabil Alhassan, has commended Sarkodie for his recently organized ‘Black Love’ virtual concert, saying that it was the best virtual concert organized so far, given the amount of effort he put into organising the concert.

Speaking during an interview with GhanaWeb, the event factory CEO said that the show, unlike other virtual concerts was impressive. He further added that he was very pleased by the team the put together the concert.

“I am proud of it…It was a successful set-up, great teamwork… when you look at our productions right from Rapperholic, we don’t compromise on quality, we try to bring our best. If you review last year’s Rapperholic, stage seat-up, design, everything was top notch… we didn’t give Ghanaians a substandard event. It was a world-class event; the venue has never been used by anybody so we just did our best.”

After the Covid-19 pandemic hit Ghana’s entertainment industry, most artistes cancelled their upcoming concerts, while others have ever since been postponing their already organized shows due to the ban on public gathering. Those musicians who had planned to tour the world with their new songs and albums were force to put their plans on hold.

Nonetheless, virtual concerts have become the normal entertainment platform and such notable virtual concerts in the country include, rapper Edem's ‘AntiCorona Concert’ which was organised in March, and Shatta Wale's ‘Faith Concert’ that took place in April.
