Fast-rising Ugandan artiste Dre Cali has addressed claims that he imitated the late Radio Mowzey’s music style in his latest song 'Ebisoka N'ebisembayo' featuring saxophonist Joseph Sax.

In a recent interview, Dre Cali dismissed the claims noting that Mowzey was known for high quality productions, and since he upped his game and dropped a high quality jam, fans have likened it to the late Radio’s music.

"I do not want to believe that people confuse this song to be Radio's song because I sound like him. I think it is because of the organisation of the lyrics, the way we patched the lines together and Joseph Sax's instruments.

“Radio's music was total music because he used to spice it up. We also got an inspiration from him and decided to incorporate this organisation into the song,” he said.

He dismissed claims that 'Ebisoka N'ebisembayo' was a creation of the late Radio Mowzey, adding that he wrote the lyrics himself.

"I wrote that song sometime back in 2017 while at campus. I got that inspiration from MadRat and Chicko' manager who called a girl and used that statement,” he divulged.

Dre Cali appreciated the comparison stating that he is honoured to be compared to the late Ugandan music legend.
