Legendary Kenyan musician Eric Wainaina has dropped a new video dubbed ‘Okay’.

‘Okay’ is the second video off Eric’s fourth studio album dubbed  ‘Dreams In Stereo’  and features Eric and his entire band and background singers singing and performing in their own environments.

In the new release, Eric highlights the challenges he’s been going through since his significant other walked away, but notes that he’ll be ‘Okay’.

“It’s not the same since you went away I hug the pillow where you used to lay your head Strands of your hair Scent of your perfume Maybe sometime today I can steel my nerves and dull the pain And take down the photographs of me and you… I’m gonna be okay I’m gonna be all right Gonna be sambamba Gonna be just fine Gonna walk the streets…” the song’s lyrics read in part.

Inspired by the current social distancing demands, each band member selfie-videoed themselves and sent in their footage for an edit by Kevin ‘The Raww’ Obie.

The recording of the song features musicians from Nairobi and Will Kennedy’s current base, Los Angeles.
