Iryn Namubiru Drops New 'Mpulira' Album

Legendary Ugandan vocalist Iryn Namubiru has blessed us with a new album dubbed 'Mpulira'.

 'Mpulira' (loosely translated to mean I'm listening ) has a total of 12 songs including; ‘Mpulira’ both the Reggae and the acoustic version, Call Me, Gunteeko, Byokola, Byendi Byoli, Tonkyawa, Yimbula, Naye Nawe, Kachumbali (Acoustic version), Kulusegere the remix and Omu Oti.

It also features famous saxophonist Joseph Sax and renowned guitarist Myko Ouma.

Among the top producers who put their brains together to produce this amazing work including Nessim Pan Production, Producer Big Nash, Daddy Andre, Andy Music, Bomba Music, Jude Mugerwa, Hakim Kiwanuka, Viane Wamala (percussion) and Allan Okia (Bass).

The songwriters who contributed to Iryn Namubiru's 'Mpulira' album include; Melody, Black Skin, Daddy Andre, Andy Music and Yesse Oman Rafiki.

In a post on a social message pages announcing the new album, Iryn Namubiru hailed the above mentioned artistes for helping make ‘Mpulira’ a success.

"A BIG THANK YOU to all these immensely Talented people that I have worked with on this Album. God Bless you All," she said.

'Mpulira' album is now streaming on iTunes, Deezer, MediaNet, Spotify and Google Play.

The renowned artiste was meant to have an online concert over the weekend but cancelled it due to new COVID-19 measures by the government.
