New Music+Video: 'Hold Me Down' By Lyta

Days after inking a deal with Naira Marley's Marlian Music, Nigerian singer and songwriter Lyta on Friday, August 14, dropped a new song.
Titled 'Hold Me Down' (Omo Gidi) the new song serves as Lyta's debut single for the year.
‘Hold Me Down’ (Omo Gidi) produced by Quebeats is basically an Afrobeats song in which Lyta sings about locking your lover down.
He also gave a special shoutout to his former boss Olamide Baddo (Baba Milliano).
Lyta signed a record deal with Olamide's YBNL Nation in 2018 but left a year later, in 2019 due to contractual and personal issues.
After exiting YBNL, he signed with Doro Musik Gang.
Lyta's new song was dropped alongside an official video. The video is inspired by Kpop Korean Boy Band GOT7 and BTS.
The video posted on Naira Marley's official YouTube channel has recorded an impressive over 800k views within the first two days.

Lyta has to date released one Extended Play titled 'ID' and several hit singles among them Monalisa that also has a remix that he did with American-born Nigerian superstar Davido.
