Why Iryn Namubiru Postponed Much-awaited Concert

Legendary Ugandan vocalist Iryn Namubiru has postponed her much-awaited online concert that that was set to take place over the weekend.

In a post on her social media pages, Fezah management explained that the concert that was to happen yesterday on the 16th did not take place due to the latest guidance from the Ministry Of Health regarding COVID-19.

"Due to latest guidance from the ministry of Health about Kampala becoming a COVID-19 hotspot we have postponed Iryn Naumubiru’s online show to the 13th of September," read part of the statement.

Fezah management also revealed that they are working on upgrading safety precautions over and above the standard operating procedures from the government to protect the artiste and the crew.

They further revealed that the tickets are still valid for the new date plus the instant refund policy is still available for all those who have already purchased the ticket to the online stream.

"We apologize for the inconvenience, and look forward to live streaming all the amazing new music Iryn Namubiru has lined up, straight into the comfort of your homes soon. For now let’s stay calm, stay safe, and keep those around us safe," Fezah management said.
