Award-winning Kenyan-based Burundian musician Kidum has dropped a new jam dubbed ‘Shukuru Mungu’.
‘Shukuru Mungu’ is a patriotic song where Kidum urges Kenyans to thank God for his goodness and blessings upon them.
He underscores that every Kenyan should thank God for the peace he has accorded us over the years.
Kidum notes that he loves Kenya as it became a home for Him after violence erupted in his home nation Burundi.
According to Kidum, Kenya can be much better if we come together and live as one people united in God’s love.
In the jam, he highlights some of the things that have made Kenya proud globally for example successful long-distance athletes.
“We have faced a lot as a country but we always come out strong because we are stronger together. I made this song for Kenya a place where I found home after running away from my country due to tribal war. I dedicate this song to every Kenyan citizen. Umoja ni Nguvu. Tuipende Kenya yetu,” Kidum said will sharing the song.
Kidum is an award winning artiste based in Nairobi, Kenya. Born and raised in Burundi, he relocated to Kenya to pursue his musical dream.
He is one of the best live-music performers and vocalists in the region.
