Lyta Set To Drop New Song 'Hold Me Down' (Omo Gidi)

Nigerian singer and songwriter Lawal Opeyemi Raimi, known professionally as Lyta (pronounced L-Y-T-A) is set to drop a new song this week.
Lyta who recently joined Naira Marley's record label Marlian Music announced in a post on his official Twitter handle that the new music will be dropping on Friday.

Lyta who signed a record deal with YBNL Nation in 2018 but left the label in May 2019 after having a disagreement with Olamide also shared what looked like the artworks for the upcoming song revealing its title and producer.
The song is titled 'Hold Me Down' (Omo Gidi) and is produced by Qbeat.
"Finally new music drops this Friday! Who’s also excited cos i’m super excited right now! Let me see your love (read heart sign)" he tweeted on Wednesday night.
This will be the first single that Lyta will be dropping under his new record label Marlian Music.

Lyta released a 5-track debut EP Id in 2019. This year, he has only released one track titled 'Mama'.
The 20-year-old singer released his
breakthrough single with YBNL Nation, titled "Time" on 2018 featuring vocals by Olamide.
Lyta also featured American-born Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido in the remix of his single Monalisa.
In his about two years in the music career, Lyta has been nominated for four different awards, two each at the Headies and City People Music Awards.
He was in 2019 nominated for the Best New Act and Most Promising Act at the City People Music Awards and Best Street - Hop Artiste and Next Rated at The Headies.
