Renowned Ugandan artiste Leila Kayondo has opened up on the woes she’s faced in 2020, noting that the year has been so different from what she anticipated at the beginning.

According to Leila, she was looking forward to the year 2020 but she got disappointed at what it came with.

The 'Manifesto' hit maker always celebrates her birthday on 1st January and hopes to have the best of the year, but 2020 was quite different, not like she had anticipated because it came with a lot of challenges.

“In March, my dad died. In July, I lost a brother and a friend in the same month. It was not a good year but we do not have to question God," Leila said.

She divulged that since there are no music shows in Uganda due to the corona virus pandemic, she relies on her boutique business to sustain herself.

Addressing her music production, Leila says she has many songs in studio both singles and collabos, but is not planning on releasing any music until she is strong enough to bounce back in the game.

Leila noted that she is currently concentrating on her personal life and making sure she gets better.
