Eddy Kenzo Lists His Two Favourite Ugandan Musicians

Award-winning Ugandan artiste Eddy Kenzo has been the subject of debate for the past two days, after his phone conversation where he is reportedly bashing Bobi wine leaked online.
Speaking during a recent interview, the celebrated musician downplayed the audio, noting that Bobi Wine is one of his favorite musicians in the country.
"I love Bobi Wine so much and he knows it. My best artistes are Jose Chameleone and Bobi Wine,” he said.
Eddy Kenzo divulged that he is proud of the Kyadondo East legislator, further recalling an karaoke event in 2007 where he used Bobi Wine's song to audition for the competition organised by veteran events MCs Straka Mwezi and Miles Rwamiti.

"Out of all the artistes in Uganda, I got my money and bought Bobi Wine's tape titled 'Wendi', and I sung his song for the competition,” he noted.
The ‘Twegale’ hit maker revealed that while he was starting his music career, he hunted down Bobi Wine for an autograph till he got it, adding that to date, he talks to Bobi Wine as a brother, a fan and a friend.
Addressing his remarks on the leaked audio, Eddy Kenzo stated that he was criticizingBobi Wine as an artiste who has failed to recognize fellow artistes in their levels.
He claimed Bobi Wine is making himself appear superior and untouchable.
