Former SM member, Addi Self has praised his former boss Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known by his professional name as Shatta Wale for his recent “Already” collaboration with the American goddess of music Beyonce.

According to Addi Self he still holds a lot of respect and love for the king of African dancehall Shatta Wale, even if they are no longer working together. He further said that he still sees him as a father and has nothing against him.

“I am very proud of it because you know I’m his son. No, matter what, I’m his son and am very proud of him”, he said. Addi Self further said that the militants knew that he was doing a video with Beyonce but did not say anything. Instead, the let it blow its own trumpet because they knew it was going to be big.

The militants made of Addi Self, Joint 77, Natty Lee and Captan were sacked by their boss, Shatta Wale earlier from the SM camp this year. According to the self-acclaimed king of dancehall, he sacked the militants because they were not only lazyand ungrateful, but they also lacked talent and could not write good music.

Speaking during an interview on Kumasi based Agyenkwa FM; Addi Self said that even though he and the SM boss parted ways, they are still in good terms.
