Winnie Nwagi, Navio Set Record Straight on their Viral Dance Video

Swangz Avenue diva Winnie Nwagi was on Thursday the subject of debate on social media after a  video emerged online showing what appears to be rapper Navio stepping aside as she tried twerking on him.

Social media users hit out at her, accusing her of trying to dance in front of a married man in an inappropriate manner.

Following the backlash from fans, Navio has come out to clear the air about what exactly happened in the viral video.

Quite different from what fans think, Navio said the incident took place during a casual photo shoot, adding that he was not moving away because Winnie was trying to twerk for him, but because he wanted to take a look at the pictures from a cameraman.

"I see people talking about the video clip but I'm here to clarify on that, it was a simple photo shoot, posing for pics with a fellow artiste shouldn’t be bad!! And I wasn't avoiding her, I just stepped a bit to check on the photos the camera guy was taking and that he was done and happy! Thank you,'' Navio said (sic).

On her part, Nwagi shared the full video which provides context on what really happened before Navio stepped out.

In the video, the two are seen having a good time before Navio steps aside, which is proof that he did not avoid Nwagi.
