Zuchu’s ‘I am Zuchu’ EP Sets New Streaming Record in Tanzania

Wasafi records latest signing Zuchu has set a new record in the Tanzanian music industry thanks to her debut EP ‘I am Zuchu’.
Her EP ‘I am Zuchu’ which dropped in March is doing extremely well on several digital platforms and is currently one of the most streamed projects by a female musician from Tanzania.
As of today, the EP has over 3,000,000 million streams on Boomplay, making Zuchu the first Tanzanian artiste to achieve that fete on the platform.
“Msanii wa kwanza kufikisha 3 Million streams ndani ya @boomplaymusic kupitia ep yetu pendwa ya I AM ZUCHU .Naishiwa maneno ya shukrani .Nasema ASANTE SANA,” she posted.

Following the achievement, her management lauded and urged her to continue giving her best as it is clearly working out.
"Ama hakika 'kupendwa raha' kama mwenyewe @officialzuchu alivyoimba kwenye ngoma ya ‘Raha’ inayopatikana kwenye EP yake ya ‘I am Zuchu’. Zuchu ni msanii wa KWANZA Tanzania kufikisha streams milioni #3 kwa EP au wimbo mmoja ndani ya Boomplay. Hii inadhihirisha uwezo wa msanii huyu na utamu wa hii EP ya kibabe. Endelea kuufaidi uhondo,” WCB posted.
Last month, she hosted her first live show and managed to sell out all the available tickets, an indication that she is loved and appreciated by her fans.
