Shatta Wale, Beyonce Collaboration to Open Doors for Ghana Music-Opanka

Dadie Opanka born Armstrong Affum, but popularly known by the stage name Dadie Opanka, has said that the collaboration between Beyonce and Shatta Wale will assist open doors for other Ghanaian artistes to aim for bigger collaborations in future.

Shatta Wale’s recent achievement has been met with a lot of congratulatory messages from politicians, fellow musicians, fans and many other people from all over the world.

Speaking in an interview with the GNA Entertainment, Sensational Ghanaian rapper Dadie Opanka said that Shatta Wale’s collaboration was a huge win for Ghana’s music industry and should be taken advantage of by other musicians.

"Firstly I want to congratulate Shatta Wale for this huge success. It's a big win for Ghana music and it would make the world pay much more attention to Ghana music and open doors to other musicians.

"The likes of Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, and others have recently featured some big artistes and I think these collaborations are important for Ghana music as we look to further expose our music to the world.

"It is important for other musicians to set their sights on making big features to help thrive Ghanaian music,'' he stated

Currently, the "Wedding Car" hitmaker is promoting his new single dubbed “Hold On” featuring Kofi Kinaata.
