Brandy Releases New Single Off Her New Album Titled 'Borderline'

Brandy released a new single and shortly after released a full album for us and it is like she never left. Her new single is dubbed ‘Borderline’ and I bet you will be on that border line listening to her greatness and especially watching its well thought-out video.
‘Borderline’ is a single about mental health placed in the context of being in a relationship with a lot of energy and mood shifts; that is having bipolar and being in a relationship where it is almost threatening for the other person that should they leave you, you will go insane. The song comes off as Brandy writing down love and healing notes to her to remind herself that she has her to love on.
‘Borderline’ is Brandy staying true to her musical nature; it is RnB with a lot of soul and so the piano is the base of every other instrumentation that is heard on the track. Brandy also uses a lot of vocal harmonies in great arrangement in layering the song from beginning to the end of the song; this gives her a lot of vocal freedom and we enjoy a lot belting, smooth runs and everything melodic about Brandy’s voice.
The video is set in a psychiatric confinement in which Brandy is going through all her emotions all by herself. We watch her smiling, crying and having episodes while in the room. In another scene, we watch Brandy performing to herself and in this scene too, we watch her unpacking a lot of emotion on the microphone.
