Renowned Ugandan dance group The Triplet Ghetto Kids are celebrating yet another milestone in their music career after hitting 100,000 subscribers on YouTube.

Following the fete, YouTube awarded the youngsters with a silver play button.

There are three categories of YouTube Creator awards; Silver Creator Award (100,000+ subscribers), Gold Creator Award (1million+ subscribers) and Diamond Creator Award (10million+ subscribers).

Eddy Kenzo was the first Ugandan to get the Gold Creator Award after he surpassed one million subscribers. A few months later, Masaka Kids Africana also came through with the same award.

The young dancers are celebrating this huge milestone mostly because their channel has been hacked on three different occasions within the past few months.

"Grateful to the LORD. Our YouTube Was Hacked 3 times But yes we got it back And We here to announce we Have received our 100k Subscribers Award From YouTube!! Thank you, God, and you the fans for making this happen!! They can hack pages but Can’t Hack you the fans. Let’s Keep subscribing and hit 1M,” the group posted.

The Triplets Ghetto Kids was founded by Kawuma Dauda in 2013 with a mission of using music, dance and drama to help less privileged children in society.

The group came to the limelight in 2014 when they danced to Eddy Kenzo's 'Sitya Loss' that introduced them to the world. Because of their fame, they had a chance to feature in French Montana's 'Unforgettable' ft Swae Lee.
