WCB and Diamond Platnumz’s manager Sallam SK has revealed the amount of money charged by the label's new signee Zuchu.
Speaking during a recent Instagram live session, Sallam stated that despite Zuchu being a new artiste, promoters need to part with at least Tsh20 million to have her grace a show.
“Kwa sasa hivi kumpata Zuchu kwa show ni millioni ishirini,” said Sallam.
It is worth mentioning that Zuchu is a new artiste who has only held one live performance in her career.
According to Sallam, the high charge by Zuchu is due to the marketing strategy invested in the singer during the coronavirus lockdown.

He noted that the hype created around Zuchu was meant to create a high bargaining power once the musician begins doing live shows.
The manager added that the strategy around Zuchu was meant to build a brand while creating more value.
Currently, Zuchu and the other Wasafi musicians led by Diamond Platnumz are among the most sought after, while at the same time attracting one of the biggest fees per show.
For example, Diamond Platnumz is among the highest-paid African musician. In a recent interview, Diamond revealed that he lost about Tsh3.5 Billion in show money due to the coronavirus pandemic.
