Joe Mettle Idolized by Kwesi Pratt

Ghanaian Veteran Journalist Kwesi Pratt has named his Ghanaian favorite musician as Joe Mettle. His choice is based on the fact that Joe Mettle sings songs that define the originality in him, unlike other artistes whose music lack ingenuity.
“I’m not too enthused about music which is synthetic, these days you listen to music and you don’t know whether really it is the machines which are pulling things together or it’s the ingenuity of the artiste…” He said.
This revelation was made in an exclusive interview with Ghanaweb, where the managing editor of the Insight Newspaper named Joe Mettle as his all time favourite Ghanaian musician. He recognized Daddy Lumba for his authenticity and fineness, but ended up idolizing the award-winning gospel artiste Joe Mettle for being a sensible and humble musician.
“Lumba’s voice quality, I mean the voice quality alone is extraordinary, Lumba is really great. I admire the modesty of Joe Mettle…his modesty is outstanding it’s so shocking. This is a guy who wins an award and he says that somebody else would have been better…that’s really incredible.” He added.
Joseph Oscar Nii Armah Mettle popularly known by his stage name as Joe Mettle is an award-winning gospel singer and songwriter. He was the first gospel artiste to win the 2017 VGMA artiste of the year.
