Renowned Ugandan musician John Blaq has named his five best jams so far this year.

In an Instagram video, the 'Mu Lubiri' hit maker noted that he’ll be dropping his top 5 songs every Saturday, adding that his jams won’t feature on the list.

“I don't include my songs in my top five, but the artistes who have sung good songs besides me," he said.

At number five on his list is FreeBoy Adam's fresh hit ‘Touch Me Slow’, followed by Eddy Kenzo's 'Tulinda Mugole'.

Position three was taken by Vinka's 'Love Panic'. Vinka bounced back with this jam after being off the scene for a long time. The beautiful lyrics were penned down by fellow record label artiste and renowned songwriter Azawi.

The second best song on his top 5 was Firebase Zex Bilangilangi's 'Ratata'. By now, most of us are familiar with this new talent and he deserves the spotlight for this love song that has been playing on our screens all the time.

"He is a bad boy from the ghetto. He is still a new kid on the block but he is killing it," John Blaq hailed Zex.

The number one on his top 5 is from B2C Cent's popular hit song 'Munda Awo'.

"These boys are very good, powerful and they are doing a great job. They got some disagreements with their management but decided to move on. When people do you dirty, you just to go on," he opined.
