Konde Gang’s Ibraah Postpones Much-awaited Dodoma Concert

Fast-rising Konde Gang musician Ibraah has postponed hi much-awaited Dodoma concert that was scheduled to take place on July 31, 2020.

According to Harmonize, the concert was postponed due to the death of former Tanzanian President Benjamin Mkapa.

In an Instagram post, Harmonize assured fans that a new date will be communicated soon after Mkapa’s send off.

“Kutokana Na Msiba Mkubwa Ulio Tufika Kama Taifa Kwa Ujumla Tumeipeleka Hii Shughuli Mbele Tutarudi Kuwapatia Tarehe Kamili Nduguzangu Wa DODOMA Mungu Ailaze Roho Ya Marehemu Rais wa Awamu Ya (3) Mzee Mkapa Mahala Pema Peoponi Ameen...!!” Harmonize posted.

The show was set to be Ibraah’s first live physical performance since he joined Harmonize’s Konde Worldwide.

The Dodoma concert was set to have free entry as it is a sponsored event.

Live shows have resumed in Tanzania after the government eased regulations put in place to curb spread of the corona virus.

Earlier this month, the Tanzanian government declared victory over the pandemic, and as such several musicians have resumed live performances in the country.

Among the notable artistes to hold shows include; Zuchu and Nandy.

Last week, Zuchu a new signee under the Wasafi label held her first show in Dar es Salaam.
